Well.. that was my point. I don't think anyone would have said "oh man, she is fat and gross" if they had just kept the original picture. Instead they turn her into a 16 year old girl. Unnecessary. And without the original picture people wouldn't even know. They throw out this message "ladies, ladies.. make sure you're skinny and underfed like Faith Hill" even though Faith Hill is a normal sized woman.

I wonder if those artist get to a point to where they have worked on a celeb so many times, they know exactly what needs to be done.

Beauty is all relative. The problem is that because we see so many pictures of artificially enhanced celebrities, it makes us judge real women to be less attractive. Which of course makes insecure women more insecure, so they keep buying all these products... the net results is that some people make a lot of money and a lot of women are very unhappy with themselves.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman showing some age. As a matter of fact, I tend to notice older women more than younger ones these days, especially when they are educated, classy, and in a position of leadership.

My sister is a manager at Crawford's Wing House, which is kind of like Hooters. I went there with my Dad and step-mother while she was working one day, and to be honest, even though some of the "girls" where cute, I couldn't help but notice that they were way too young, pretty much babies in my personal opinion. I definitely couldn't see myself going to a place like that just for the scenery. Not my type of place.

But a little imperfection on an intelligent, strong, independent, classy woman actually gives her some personality, and goes a long way. Taking care of yourself does not mean that you are perfect. Nobody is, yet many people are still attractive, both inside and out.

It took me a couple of seconds to realize the picture kept changing back and forth.

Sometime I think you should have a license to use Photoshop. But this has been going on for a LONG time, long before digital editing. The airbrush was the tool of choice I believe.

Real women are beautiful. When will mainstream media understand that they don't need Photoshop and air-brushing?
