I have to say that this qualifies as an ass-whipping. Fox News is a very popular show, and what O'Reilly did is tantamount to organizing a boycott on JetBlue for sponsoring the Daily Kos blog (the most popular liberal blog). That's powerful stuff.
I have gone to the Daily Kos before (as well as blogs on the left and right). While I have never seen those comments spoken by the blog owner, I think it is possible that maybe someone on that blog said that Cheney should die or something. TDK has 500,000 hits a day so it's possible that some random left that message on the blog. I could see O'Reilly pulling some shit like that.

Dick Cheney should die. Do you have a reason he should be alive?
What a joke, not an ass whuppin but just Bill the sex predator playing fast and loose with the facts to stir up his audience of 60 to 75 year olds. Yes, that is the demographic that makes up his ratings. What can you expect from a guy who got his start on Inside Edition and has lied repeatedly that he received a Peabody award!
The only thing more pathetic than billy is the weak minded old codgers that watch him.
Wow, I never thought I would hear a liberal say that someone should die. I thought that they were supposed to be the compassionate ones.

Or it could be some typical lefty moron trying to subvert the blog.

The whole "typical lefty moron" thing is really kind of childish, don't you think? Do you think that all liberals should refer to all conservatives as "typical righty morons?"

Bill O'Reilly never has a decent conversation. He uses parts of sound bites and fragments of quotes so create his point. Any joker could edit someones speech to make them look bad and if O'Reilly gets showed up by one of his guest he simply goes on a "Shut up!" rant. His show is popular with a certain crowd and that's fine, we do have freedom of speech in this country. But to say Bill O'Reilly "schooled" someone in an argument is laughable. He's a paranoid journalist wanna-be that blindly follows the conservative base with out question.
O' Reilly got Jet Blue not to associate itself with DK.
However, DK still gets the 10 free vouchers. Someone writing form DK:
Quote:
Here are the facts:
1. JetBlue confirmed that it will remain a sponsor of the YearlyKos Convention. As a sponsor, it donated 10 free roundtrip JetBlue tickets for speakers and staff to fly to and from the convention.
2. JetBlue has confirmed that its logo will remain on the YearlyKos frontpage as an in-kind sponsor.
JetBlue has acted as real heroes here. They have put up with 1,000’s of vicious, hateful emails as a result of Faux News’s false reporting. And yet they are standing by us.
Please show JetBlue some love. The netroots needs corporate sponsors like them — please show them that sponsoring the netroots is worth it.
