Liberalism at the movies

Even when it's not half-assed pseudo-science by the esteemed scholars Moore and Gore, 90% of the time movies subtly or more often blatantly try to put across the liberal left worldview. Anyone else tired of this?

Yeah, I haven't even rented a movie for about 2 years.

I do rent and watch the UFC stuff when it comes out but thats about it.

It's gotten very old and tiresome, todays "movies".

Last night I caught the news and they were talking about how the barrier reef in Australia is shrinking. Of course they're NOW mentioning it on the news to help prop up Al Gores hot air about "global warming".

I read an article about the barrier reefs shrinking 20 or so YEARS ago. It is NOT new or NEWS. But it's convenient to now mention it for the purpose of brainwashing an entire population with Al Gores man caused "global warming" story.

Most of what the media and Hollywood puts out is garbage.

Michael Moore. I can't believe that a studio would contract with that hairy assed left wing piece of trash. I mean, why support a pathological liar?

Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan should get together and make a porn movie. "Brain Dead Liberal Lust." They could have Hillary bumper stickers taped across their asses. And since they're liberal they'd just lay there, accomplish nothing but make alot of noise.

Yep. It was even present in Transformers, when they had a Bush-soundalike President, asking for "dingdongs" in Airforce One.

I'm sorry, but this has to be one of the stupidest things i've ever heard. The movies aren't all liberal it's just you guys wanting to believe it so you can have more things to use as examples of us liberals "controlling everything". If you guys weren't so stubborn and would just shut up and watch the movie without thinking of politics or being close minded then you'd see that what you're saying isn't true.

Has anyone watched that new show on comedy central called "little bush"? I've only watched one episode and even though I can handle, and often times appreciate, a well crafted bush joke, this show was not even remotely funny. It is sadly pathetic, but I expected it to be when I saw the preview for it.

So you're advocating lefty liberal subliminal messaging in movies? Why didn't Michael Moore think of that?

OK, let's take a look at, eg, the Best Picture nominees for 2006, and what the movie themes were:

Crash (winner)

White people are racist.

Brokeback Mountain

Having gotten to the point where white males are largely portrayed by Hollyweird as stupid/nerdish/asexual/losers/criminals/insane, this takes the last genre of white male manliness, and turns the cowboys into gays.

Capote

A gay author developes compassion for a mass murderer.

Good Night, and Good Luck.

Standard liberal theology of Saint Murrow and the "McCarthy Era" - long ago demolished by the Venona Papers

Munich

Israeli agents sent to render justice to the arab mass murderers of the Munich Olypmpics get second thoughts - after all, islamofascists are people too - just like you and me.

YAAAAAA - Hollywood isn't liberal!!!

You forgot Al Gore and that study in creative factualization that he calls "An Incovenient Truth." Proof positive that liberals are masters of the fine art of misinformation.
