It is a bit of stretch though as far as its representation of the CIA IMO....a bit hollywood there. I highly doubt we launch missiles at princes do not agree with the CEOs of Exxon...lol

Remember Mossadeqh?

Naw man, I'm talking about the popular Iranian Prime Minister who was assasinated by the US in 1953. Mossadeqh wanted to nationalize all the oil for which the British were getting and paying practically nothing to Iran for. Mossadeqh also was friendly with the Russians. He was assasinated by the CIA and British intelligence. He was replaced by the Shah of Iran who ruled with a police state, but was nice enough to sell us his oil in exchange for US weapons.
This is not some conspiracy theory shit. This is history and no one denies it.

If you think about it, what's to stop us from flying over some guy at 50,000 feet in an F-117 and dropping a smart bomb on them, then saying that it was due to some infighting/terrorists/insurgents/rebels, etc?

Mmm, I did not like it. At the discussion of the movie at the local Universties film festival, it was decided, by all present, to rename the movie Shitiana.
BTW, seeing a fat George Cloony just grossed me outt, and made the movie even worse for me

Officially the CIA no longer practices assassination(thanks to Jimmy Carter)...the rocket thing wouldn't happen today.

I suggest you read confessions of an economic hitman byt John Perkins.
Great movie BTW.

Oh you mean like how Ronald Reagan was removed from office after the Iran Contra affair, right? Because the President is not allowed to make up foreign policy by himself, right? Oh wait....

I saw it and thought it was a bunch of bullcrap. Just another hollywood movie with their liberal agendas.
