"Radical Islam" on Fox News Channel Sunday 4PM EST
I was just flipping around on tv, and I saw that there would be a program called "Radical Islam" on Fox News Channel at 9-10 PM Eastern Standard Time. It also comes on Sunday from 4-5 PM EST. I remember a poster from another forum calling this the great threat of our time. I don't happen to agree, but I think it would be interesting to see what the program is about.
Just thought I'd mention it.

Really? Ya think so? I thought it kind of sucked balls. I found the program informative, but I guess informative in the sense like if someone was ignorant of American politics and went to a webpage for the Republicans and then later on planned to go to a website for Democrats. lol
It did a good job presenting "their" side of the story. Now one just needs the other half of the story and one would be alright. lol

The dem-rep thing was an analogy for how one-sided the perspective was on the "Radical Islam" report. The report constantly blamed Radical Muslims, but does not look at what causes Radical Islam, (i.e. the creation and expansion of Israel, as well as their ethnic cleansing policies, as well as the poor political relations between the US and Iran).

a bit over generalizing with Iran though. Yes, Ahmed does promote the weekly Friday death to america march, but the video gives the viewer the impression that the whole country participates in it...that all persians are radical and anti-american....the truth is that they aren't. In fact iran is on of the most modern and tolerant nations in the mid east...but not so tolerant when compared to the west.
overall, its a decent program worth watching.

what a shame that people will believe it. I mean, TV is a powerful media. While Iranians where the only people in ME that when 9/11 happened came to street –in Tehran, Mohseni sq- with candles and cried, though the regime forces get violent with them, and they knew that.
Iran’s TV has been unfortunately successful to manipulate the truth. Besides that no one will say what s/he thinks actually, because it’s so easy to get in trouble like that.
I thought this film can show the other side of the coin; an American family who traveled to Iran for skiing. That’d be fun watching it:

thanks to internet, satellite tvs etc.. a modern youth in iran is emerging, iran wouldn't be the same a few years later, only barrier infront of them is US threats to Iran, it is a good excuse for mullah regime to dismiss all reform demands... And if US would ever bombard Iran, mullah regime would get a great chance to continue its oppression on youth...because no one could dare to ask for reforms when the country under attack ...
On the other hand, even regime would change, don't expect a western Iran, the youth I called modern is not mean western but modern iranian....
BTW, I posted a turkish film review in religion section, besides extremes, it shows how an ordinary religious muslim become hypocratic because of the interpretion of islam, they believe that a good muslim must decline technology and everything contemporary and must live like arabs of AD 700s ... On the other hand its not possible to not to use technology in their daily life, in business etc in a modern society.. so they are cheating their beliefs, finding excuses ... very interesting ...

I saw part of this "Radical Islam" show today on the Fox News channel but I didn't get to see all of it and I couldn't find the next listing. Do you know when it will be on again? The part I saw was very interesting.
