Eh, I've always thought he was arrogant, and have posted so months ago.

As for the elitist issue, of course he is, and a President damned better be. The President should have a top notch education and think on a higher level. I would trust an educated informed person any day over Joe six pack.

Yeah, I'm kind of baffled by the whole elitist concept. Last time America voted for someone they wanted to have a beer with (I can't imagine why anyone would want to have a beer with a drunk though) he ended up being perceived one of the most out of touch president we ever had. I don't know whether or not Obama is ready for the presidency, but being perceived as intellectually superior to the average man doesn't sound like a weakness.
