Anyone else anxious to see this movie when it comes out?

Oliver Stone to put British actress in Bush cabinet - Yahoo! News

Oliver Stone's previous films, JFK and Nixon were both intriguing to me. Here's hoping that this one should be equally engaging.

I heard that this movie was full of lies. Even on Olberman's countdown, they were saying that the fistfight scene never happened in real life.

I actually despise it when people do shit like that. I'd like to see Stone get sued for libel.

I've read and heard people say that Oliver Stone movies are bull shit if you're wanting actual historical content.

I haven't read the script, so I don't know about any lies or what not.

But I still think it will be an entertaining film. Like the previous ones, you obviously need to take it with a grain of salt. When I want facts without embelishment, I watch a documentary or read a book.

Thats true. I'll probably watch it anyways. As long as it doesn't get too ridiculous, I'd say it would be fun to, well I assume anyways, to make fun of Bush.

I am not happy with Stone's fictionalization of historical events (JFK film). People who have not studied the actual event but view the Stone film will likely think that the film is historically accurate. So it will be with the "W" production.

I understand what you're saying. But people could also boycott films like Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, and Gladiator due to gross historical inaccuracies as well.

Like I said, it is tragic that people watch just the films without being motivated to further perform their own due diligence on the subject afterwards - but people who do know to take it with a grain of salt can still have fun watching it.
