The Falklands belong to whoever the people who live there decide it should belong to. If they think it should be part of Argentina, then it is, if they think it should be part of the UK, then it is, if they decide it ought to be independent then it is.

I agree with Oz. The same with Gribaltar, etc. Let the ppeople of the Flaklands decide. We believe in democracy after all. And distance is no precedent. There are quite a few French terrotries, fully part of France as departments, that are quite far of from the old country itself.

Indeed. The inhabitants shall decide. Even if I would like to see Gibraltar to be spanish again, there is no point in demanding that when the people living there dont want that.

Argentine is the most European out of the South American countries. So we face pretty much a situation of white vs white. I don't know which point you are trying to make here. I mean you dont demand Argentine to give back all lands to the indogene inhabitants do you?

Using your logic; the northern part of Borneo should belong to Indonesia, not Malaysia.

Great Britain. Most of the residents of the Falklands are of British Descent, and they want to be part of Great Britain. In addition, the British kicked Argentina's ass to keep the Falklands.

If you truly believed that the Falklands were Argentine, you would have called them the Malvinas.

1) Argentines are white. I've met quite a few, and honestly, they are about the most snobbish of South Americans that I've known.

2) The people in the Falklands want to be British.

3) International treaties have already determined that the moon cannot be owned.

Actually, they've determined that the moon cannot be owned by a state. They haven't said that it cannot be owned by an individual. So there's some guy who has claimed ownership of the moon and sells off acres to celebrities. Of course, he has no claim to it himself anyway, since he's never been there.
