For Puerto Rico globalization is not an option but a necessity.

This is not only true for Puerto Rico but for almost any other country right now. I personaly think that if Puerto Rico was independent we could apply a economic model like that of Japan. Difficult to enter in our market for other countries but easy for us to directly invest in others. This of course being independent and having the rights that it entitles such as: printing money, defense and the power to make treaties and agreements.
