Lawsuit demands San Francisco police report illegal immigrants

Section 11369 of the California State Health and Safety Code says:

When there is reason to believe that any person arrested (on any of a variety of drug possession and sale charges) may not be a citizen of the United States, the arresting agency shall notify the appropriate agency of the United States having charge of deportation matters.

Why should these so called sanctuary cities continue to violate the law?

Of course, FRY has a point. I mean, what the hell do we know? We's just a buncha bible-thumpin', gun-rack totin', backwater, unedumucated, hayseeds. Thems from San Fransisco.
