Now nearing retirement age, the children of former red army soldiers and german women born in eastern Germany during the soviet occupation are looking for their fathers with the help of historians and a popular show on russian TV. Many of these "children of the occupation" often have endured lifelong suffering due to their mothers relations with Russians shortly after the war or (in many cases) beeing the result of rape.......
