The power of the doctrine on the instincts of Man
The legacy of the Socialists and Secularists in the Muslim world
I A Osman najmal-alam@hotmail.co.uk
The time is divided into three phases namely past, present and future. The events which occur in the first two make its own effect and influence on the life of Man.
Thoughts, emotions, reactions, miscellaneous mood, are all the result of the intriguing events, some of which make historical remark and record in our life.
Pondering over the aftermath of the disasters and catastrophic events is as important as protecting oneself from it. Both cases has been emphasised in the noble Quran to be considered in dealing with the hardships stemming from implementing an ideal environment. The Quran says: Believers, take your precautions. 4-71. and Therefore take heed you that have eyes. 59.2. The challenges which are incumbent in the course of achieving ideal goals in life occur spontaneously partially as a result of the constant wrestling between the truth and falsehood. Examples can be cited on the colonial and post-colonial era in our region of the world. In our Muslim world, many events pass by without even being noticed, the departure of the colonists was no other than a gesture of manoeuvre to readjust to the post colonial environment in the independent world. In Egypt, Iraq and Syria, there were oppositionist national movements against the French and British rules. Unfortunately, the national movements fell into another more intricate trap led by the colonists, in their struggle to free themselves from the old trap.
In 1943 Syria, under the French occupation, there stood up some secondary students among them was Zaki Al Arzusi. Zaki started to implant national movement ideologies among the students and locals in order to thwart the French influence, focusing on the revival of Arab nationalism, freedom and unity among Arabs.
There were in the meantime, two other guys in Syria, a Christian Michel Aflak and Sallahudin Beitar who enjoyed the same awareness but held different ideology or approach than Zaki’s style. Michel Aflak who resisted Zaki’s movements soon started to overpower him and lead the national Ba’ath party. Michel’s dramatic change of stance shrugging off the prevailing differences between him and Zaki and employing the ideologies in favour of the Baa’th which he later heralded poses a big question mark. Zaki soon disappears from the political scene but not completely, as the ideology of the national Ba’ath party was being spread in the remotest parts of Syria. They took the message to the peasants and villagers, with the help of influential clan chiefs and men of authority, in their local areas. Large scale propaganda had been mobilised among all sects such as the Alawites, the Ismaelis and the Christians. At this stage, another Arab communist party lead by Akram Al Hawrani joined the Ba’ath and together they took the name of the Arab Ba’ath Communist Party. The main objective of the Ba’ath party was to marginalize Islam and enforce the doctrine of Arab nationalism. Islam was portrayed as the main culprit in tarnishing pan Arabism and inviting other races. The pure Arab identity was dissolved within the other Muslim nations in the brotherhood and equality of all Muslim races introduced by Islam, which was an unforgivable error according to the Ba’ath party. For the Ba’ath party, the Christian Arab should be given more privilege for being an Arab than a non Arab Muslim. The mission of the prophet peace and blessings be upon him was being defined as an Arab nationalist, a leader whose aim was based on the unification of the Arab nations. The Ba’athists believe that Arabs had maintained the quintessence of their race before Islam but when Islam spread to other non Arab nations, Arabs lost the true and pure spirit of their identity. This communist idolatry Ba’ath party allures its naïve admirers with attractive titles such as “Muhammad was for all Arabs; let all Arabs today become for Arabs. The Christian founder of Arab Ba’ath communist party, Michel Aflak, wrote a booklet on the occasion of the birthday of the prophet peace and blessings be upon him with the title: the commemoration of the Arab Messenger. Look to the extent of this cunning seduction of this Christian founder of the Ba’ath party. He was able to manipulate the feeble minds of large number of Muslims who fell into his trap. The way he feigned an opponent of the ideology of the nationalism led by Zaki Arsuzi and then how he changed his negative stand and soon took control of it. As a Christian, with the implementation of the Ba’ath ideology he would be undermining the unity and brotherhood of Muslims as defined by Islam. Yet as a Christian but an Arab he would gain priority and enjoy higher rank over other non Arab Muslims. As the Ba’athist poet put it:
I believed in the Ba’ath as a lord who has no partner
And the pan Arabism as a religion without any counterpart
Ba’ath party as an offshoot of communism and secularism both are the handiwork of the freemason organisation in order to destroy Islam with these poisonous ideologies.
The Nasserite Arab nationalism in Egypt, the Arab socialist Ba’ath party, the secularism, the modernism, all oppose and accuse the Islamic rituals and injunctions as backwardness. An intriguing astonishment is the way the leaders of these fatal ideologies demonise the French occupation while at the same time admired its way of life and system. Michel Aflak propagated the French culture and literature; he always admired and adored the Arab history in the dark and ignorance days before Islam as his main intention was to return Muslims to the dark says before the advent of Islam. The Ba’ath party founder derived his doctrine and principles from the philosophy of Bergson, Hegel, Herder and Karl Marx. Islam is always blamed, in the sight and thinking of Michel, because it opened the gate for other non Arab nations to be amalgamated with Arabs in faith and brotherhood.
Long before the arrival of the socialist Nasserite pan Arabism in Egypt, there was another modernist and secularist movement which paved the way for all other ideologies. A young lad by the name of Kasim Amin happened to write a book in which he had defamed the free mixing of opposite genders, the western lifestyle and commended the Islamic way of women’s treatment and purity. The book came to the awareness of AlAmira Nazili who was the Egyptian women’s ambassador in upholding and propagating the western, especially French ideologies and lifestyle. Al Amira Nazili used to host both the father of modernization in Egypt Sh. Muhammad Abduh and his friend in the campaign Sa’ad Zaghlul. Amin the young man used to be the translator for the Sheikh while they were in France. AlAmira Nazili had known Sh. Muhammad Abduh and Sa’ad Zaghlul who used to frequent her salon. AlAmira Nazili exploited the opportunity and complained about Amin’s book to the Sheikh. AlAmira Nazili accused Amin that he offended her in his book when he talked bad about westernized women, the free mixing and the purity and chastity of veiled women. Both Sh. Muhammad Abduh and Zaghlul pressurised Amin to apologise for AlAmira and within short period of time he wrote another book called the exemption of women in which he refutes and retracts all his previous statements. In this book Tahrir Al Mar’a, he derides the veiled women, boasts the western culture of free mixing and denounces the callers to the separation of men and women in educational institutions. AlAmira Nazili accepted this gesture of apology as appeasing but Amin exchanged that to spreading evil and incurring Allah’s displeasure. In his other book, the new woman, AlMar’al Jadiida, he exhorts women to throw out the veil and mix with men in every aspect and field, rationalizing it as the only way to mimic the western civilisation and take a giant leap to modern civilization and materialistic development as they did. Amin’s dreams could be realized only through modernization and exemption from the shackles of religious injunctions pertaining to women’s moral values and etiquette. His mentor, Sh. Muhammad Abduh who had rallied and campaigned for modernization at the time is thought to have helped Amin import distorted and twisted allegorical religious interpretations in context with his campaign to mislead the Muslim women, in the name of freedom and women’s rights. His books like the exemption of women and the new woman had a negative impact on the social life forever. Three factors are mentioned to have contributed to Amin’s successful insidious efforts to spread evil among women.
1. The prevailing powerful western (The British colonist) media domination in Egypt and its facilitation for the westernization and brainwashing purposes.
2. The presence of Christian ad Jewish women in Egypt who paved the way for the Muslim women who were weak in their faith to easily emulate them.
3. The British and French (Napoleon’s expedition to Egypt) colonists constant endeavour to suppress and undermine the weak Muslims.
4. The existence of oppression and degrading treatment of Muslim women based on ignorance which was prevailing and completely against the Islamic teachings. Such as depriving her of her inheritance, other traditional domestic misbehaviours like not eating together with the husband, all of which lead Muslim women to seek refuge, sustenance and protection in the opposite extreme of false freedom and human rights.
Amin moved further forward towards accusing Islamic teachings of being the source of backwardness and ignorance. While juxtaposing it with the western civilisation, which he admired, he shrewdly portrays women’s veil as tradition, polygamy as oppression to women, liaises with the authority to enforce his ideologies, takes the weak and fabricated hadith as an evidence for his corruptive ideologies, he expresses his strong admiration of the western lifestyle.

The power of the doctrine on the instincts of Man II
[left] This was long before the birth of the Ba’ath party and the coming of the nationalist movement of Jamal Abdunasser who further plunged the Egyptian people into the abyss of darkness and communism. In his time, other two main participants cooperated in the nationalist movements such as Saddam and Asad of Syria. The movement spread all across North Africa and the rest of the Arab world. This trend was spilling out into the Sudan, Somalia and former Southern Yemen. In the Middle East in March 1916, Britain and France were planning what was then known as the famous psyches-Pico treaty to divide it in between them. This initiative came after the Ottoman Turks were defeated by the British with the collaborator Sherif Hussein, ruler of Hijaz, Sherif Hussein being given false promise by the British that on overthrowing the Turks, he would be assisted to extend his rule from the borders of Turkey to Sinai and from the Gulf Ocean to Iran, he cooperated and fought the Turks side by side with the British.
Lawrence of Arabia fooled him for a personal interest as to how the non Arab Turks should occupy your lands while you are the descendents of the prophet peace and blessings be upon him. After defeat of the Turks and the British gaining upper hand in the region, Sherif Hussein was kicked out and exiled to Cyprus. When the British commander defeated the Ottoman Turks and conquered Jerusalem, he announced now did the crusader war end. Therefore take heed you that have eyes. 59.2
In March 1916, A British Parliamentarian Mark Psyches and George Pico a former French Consular in Lebanon signed a treaty and agreed on the division of the Middle East to two British and French parts. The British have got Iraq, Jordan and Palestine. The French took Syria and Lebanon. This was a unique opportunity for Haim Weitzman in London to press for a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Soon in 1917, The British foreign secretary James Balfour wrote to the Zionist supporter Lord Rotshield in what became known as the promise of Balfour. Two things we never do are to be aware of the present conspiracies and ponder events of the past to be lesson for us in our future.
Since 1916 it is a century and according to apocalyptic interpretations, there should be a turning point to events as each century elapses in its anniversary. The Middle East required a new Psyches Pico political map reformation. Tony Blair then prime Minister got this idea so important that he fanatically insisted on waging war on Iraq was vital to remove Saddam and occupy the oil rich most powerful threat to the middle east remapping plan. Bush and Blair explained the necessity to remap the Middle East to their western allies as well as Russia, but Saddam was favourable to France, German and Russia. The real and hardest challenge on the way to fulfilling the apocalypse was to influence France, Germany and Russia than the rest of the Middle East. The Gulf was a willing partner of the coalition of the willing as Saddam’s attempt to annex Kuwait in the second Gulf war added more weight to their anxiety to remove him from power as soon as possible. Saddam became a dreadful ghost who posed a threat to the tiny oil rich Gulf countries as long as he existed. In Kuwait, a powerful propaganda was launched to prepare the public opinion that in order to uproot and remove their most bitter foe, a very devastating, thoroughly destructive war in their next door is inevitable. The Gulf countries were put in a dilemma to make an option between unleashing and rearming Saddam’s forces to overrun them again or play their role to provide blank cheque for this operation. The first Gulf war between Iraq and Iran, the Kurdish massacre, were chain of reactions which contributed to the run up for the realization of the new Middle East map formation. Money, Diplomacy, threats, and blackmailing, was carried out by the American and British diplomats as Blair started shuttle visits to the Middle East, Asia and African countries. The neo conservative US hawks started their mission rallying support for the Iraq invasion. Long before, after the 9/11 incident another Anti-Terrorism coalition scenario was concocted which demanded equal support to invade Afghanistan and oust the Taliban government. There were common interests by several parties, such as the contracts which were being signed by US oil business entrepreneurs and the reformation of the Middle East map in reinvigorating the Psyches Pico domination of the region. France, Russia and Germany had been seduced that instead of getting their share through Saddam, it would be much more accessible and at their disposable if Iraq felt as booty in the hands of their allies. There was another party which have had totally different immaterialist aim in the Iraqi war; the Zionist lobby in the US congress’s sanctioning and budgeting of the Iraq war to billions was meant to get rid of the greatest threat in the Middle East to what is known as the state of Israel. The scrutinizer of the events in post war Iraq shall definitely understand it by the way the Iraqi army was immediately dismantled, the infrastructure with which it can potentially restore its power under new leadership was disabled. Blair’s statements when addressing the British army in southern Iraq depicts the hidden agenda he has had in mind. He reiterates the words: if this effort came to fruition, generations would thank you. This region constitutes the most important spot for our future. He is insinuating to them this is an oil rich spot worth to die for; our intention is to reinstall the map of the region according to its status at the beginning of the twentieth century. We have to reinstate our dominion therein and re-establish our identity as the former colonists and administrators of the region. Blair took the greatest risk in his life to dispense with his own allies at home while establishing staunch alliance with and allegiance for the Bush administration. Bush’s oil greed team of entrepreneurs had one objective in mind which is the oil, the Zionist lobbies had only one other aim which was to eliminate the biggest threat to Israel in Saddam’s Iraq. Blair shared the same crave for oil with his American partners but also had another vision of restoring the British influence in the region over a century since Psyches Pico. Blair messed up and failed the internal policy; the weapon of mass destruction was a hoax, at least eighty percent of the public opinion poll showed against the Iraq war, it coincided with the most difficult time the NHS and British transport are suffering of poor condition. But his sponsors in the US had to fulfil their solemn promise to never let him down. Soon after, he was appointed as a convoy for the quartet in the Middle East. Blair has always been lopsided and displayed tendency towards Israel against the Palestinians. The careful observer of the region’s politics who scrutinize the succession of events comes to know that the elimination of Sh. Ahmed Yassin (founder of Hamas), his hardliner successor Rantisi and even the more moderate PLO leader Yasser Arafat was being coincided within a period of Iraq turmoil in the region. Hamas being weakened by consecutive hard hits and pressures was further to be provoked to disruption and chaos with Fatah, so that pro-Israeli Fatah leaders and collaborators would take the lead. Both Abbas and Dahlan emerged as the most favourable moderate Palestinian leaders with whom Israel would be willing to cooperate in their compromising with the recognition of the state of Israel, withdrawal from all occupied territories including most importantly Al Qudus and the Palestinian refugees’ return issue. Blair maybe gambling on a beehive, in the same manner as he did in Iraq, in his attempt to scrap and scoop the honey without being stung by the bee. With that much of very high ambition to make history in the Middle East, he seems to have given heed to the general formula in the Middle East; the Palestinian issue as the mother of all crises. He may give another chance to use it as a solution to the Iraq war but with a bleak reputation marred by his blank cheque for the Bush administration and previous false promises for the PLO leader in the run up for the Iraq war coalition, not only the Muslim world public opinion, even the authorities therein are more aware of the man on the mission this time. Marginalising Hamas and attaching more importance to Fatah with a conspicuous gesture of good will from Israel and the US will not satisfy the public opinion in the Muslim world. The Palestinian issue as a Muslim worldwide issue which is rooted to the doctrine of the Muslim individual’s faith as the third most sacred place for Muslims is under occupation and the Palestinian people are suffering daily. As long as Blair is pursuing different agenda in gaining support for the Iraqi solution for his Psyches Pico domination of the region, his mission will be doomed to failure.
The secularists and the socialist in the Muslim world, unfortunately comprising the decision making authorities, totally bereft of all spiritual concepts of the events in the world, abhor any spiritual and religious interpretation to it. The contradictive attitude of the socialists and to some less extent the secularists against the western capitalist ideologies stems from sheer devotion to the man made principles they adorn and worship other than Allah. Ridiculously their western adversaries derive their motivation from spiritual sources as the new conservatives refer to their Rabbis and Bishops, even to other superstitious soothsayers, before taking remarkable decisions. The Zionist Rabbis and fundamentalist Christian bishops are being considered as the spiritual leaders whose biblical prophesy interpretations should be taken serious. The Zionist Christians know that their interests of greater Israel lying between the Euphrates and the Nile is not practically applicable without removing potential threats. They have got an edge to match the prophecies to any leader or influential religious individual, especially from the Middle East and a Muslim (albeit a secularist or a Baithist socialist), who is set to interfere with fulfilling their dreams. This is a crusader war by Bush was not a slip of a tongue. It is easy and simple for the Zionist Christians to put up from a scratch a description in the Bible of a certain man from the land between the two rivers (Mesopotamia) or say the recurring of Nebuchadnezzar who would conquer the whole oil rich Gulf and choke the western world to death or attack them with weapons of mass destruction hidden in his closet?!. In other cases, a very devout Man with long beard and turban on his head from the desert of Arabia where Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him was born, who would in the beginning of the twenty first 21st century take control of the oil rich Gulf after marching in from the mountains of the far east with strong and suicidal army to depose their royal allies in the Middle East and implement puritanical fundamental Islam in Arabia. The choice to put halt to this prophecy passing then should trigger mobilization of hundreds of thousands of men and women in uniform to the region. This prophecy was more exactly thought to happen in the beginning of the millennium that is why the US army were deployed in the Arabian Peninsula to be standby for the event.

The power of the doctrine on the instincts of Man III
The Zionist Christians leave the challenge to the US administration in office but this is the most favourable time for the former. There are currently strong believers and members of freemason, neo-conservatives, and fundamentalist Christian Zionists in the administration than anytime before. The secular and socialist mentality bent on marginalizing Islam from the day to day governance and administration of the world affairs has become a natural norm only to be counteracted by the recent Islamic awareness sweeping all over the globe. The competition and contest is taking its optimum. In Turkey where this constant challenge is explicit the secularist legacy of Attaturk is adamant to deprive the Islamists their human rights and personal freedom and choice. In schools and government offices, the headscarves are banned and parties with religious tendency are put in pressure to soften their stance to implement the public majority will and choice.
It will be nearly impossible to talk about peace and war today anywhere in the world without involvement of religious verdict or point of view. This was not the case during the cold war. The sole reason is that the Soviet Union was a godless nation. In every hot spot in the world the predicament therein converges on the new term known as clash of civilizations. This clash was brought about by the challenge in reaction and counteraction between an invading power and another in defence. There is no the least doubt that future conflicts will not be on other strategies, like acquisition of water reserves or star wars, than a religious war. The secularists and socialists deny that confrontations would be based on religious beliefs. Nevertheless their adversaries consider the conflict as a spiritual holy crusader war. There is no exclusion to the fact that there can be other wars instigated by other causes such as territorial expansion, colonization, exploitation of natural resources such as oil or water and even propagation of a system such as the old communism and the new world order. The difference between the religious and other wars is the extent of strenuous and staunch determination of the truth against the falsehood or the right against the wrong in religious wars. Moses (AS) struggled against Pharaoh till the latter was vanquished, David (AS) had slain Goliath, Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him fought the idolatry oppressors of his own next of kin, the Koreishis. The wars between the Arab idolaters and the prophet peace and blessings be upon him is an ideal example of how it always happens. There will always be sworn martyrs in defence of the truth and justice. Then among Muslims will definitely be hypocrites who will try to cast doubts and fear on other Muslims to deter them from their commitment to defend their rights. There will always be hypocrites who will seek other worldly gains cunningly disguising in a devout religious pattern and character. Defeat is eminent on the weak whenever two unequal powers wrestle provided there is flagrant flaw in the doctrine of the weaker. It is therefore essential to take heed of why the doctrine which motivates the warrior is extremely important, namely what is the main purpose of one’s fighting the enemy? Is it just for other worldly gains than implementing the truth and justice? Would few dollars bribe or a leadership position distract him from his determination?. Would a close tribal relative who collaborates or fights for the enemy to be spared on the tribalism ground?. Do the fighters for justice, freedom and truth have the correct concept of the main objective for which one would be dying?. We shall cite examples on each of the above mentioned points. In the battle of Uhud, the prophet peace an blessings be upon him instructed his companion, a battalion of archers, to remain firm in a strategic position on the top of a mountain overlooking the enemy inlet, even if the battle was over until further notice from him. On seeing the enemy retreated in defeat and the rest of the companions were collecting the booty or spoils of war, they deserted their positions and left the inlet open for the enemy to attack again and startle them. A single faltering mistake or disobedience to the prophet’s peace and blessings be upon him led to a sudden negative consequence. On another occasion, when Abubakar’s son embraced Islam, the latter mentioned that he spotted his father in one of the battles with the chance to kill him. Abubakar replied saying my son if I had that unique chance I would have killed you. When a companion was among the temporarily excommunicated for committing disobedience, the Christian ruler representing the Byzantine Empire tried to exploit his ill fated mood and sent him a letter in which he mentioned: We heard that Muhammad and his companion boycotted you, why do not you come to us and we shall give you wealth and all worldly ornaments. His disgusting and despising response had embarrassed the ruler. The best example in this context is that of the prophet peace and blessings be upon him when his people offered him everything, to appoint him a leader, give him the most beautiful of women and if he wanted wealth hand over to him the keys of their treasury to just change his mind and refrain from calling to the one lord (Allah).
He calmly but firmly reasserted his position in away which should clarify to them that he is never seeking worldly gain. Had you put the sun on my right hand and the moon on my left to give up this mission, I shall never ever do so. The moral and spiritual maturity of the freedom fighter or justice fighters whereby the pinnacle of sincerity will be attained is inevitable. The companion of the prophet peace and blessing be upon him enjoyed the correct and pure doctrine of association and dissociation, love and hatred, was sincerely for the sake of Allah. They were convinced that fighting for other than the sake of Allah was in vain and utter loss. In their eyes, pearls and diamonds were equal to mere stones in value. Today’s challenges in facing the enemy of truth, justice and freedom can not be undertaken with hysterical emotions without careful strategic planning, studying the deceptive methods employed by it, getting well prepared in terms of military training and weapon. Decision making in waging war should be preceded by fulfilling above mentioned conditions and many other strict codes of conduct, legislations and rulings. If the secularists and socialist-minded are deployed in a conflict, they will definitely be complementary for the enemy rather than fending them off. The recent painful event in Somalia depicts the above mentioned in clear details. Regardless of the inviter’s overt intention, the Ethiopian army attacked and conquered it with a definitely covert intention teemed with deep hostility bequeathed through history from the successive monarchies that fought the Islamic presence in Ethiopia. Did we prepare the intellectual maturity and mentality of the youth to absorb and digest the underlying religious doctrine to combat this invasion with a spirit of sincerity? Had the new recruits acquire adequate knowledge and understanding of their religion that was necessary to maintain the sanctity of the holy war against the Ethiopian army? Was there common term and ground among all tribes that an all out defensive system should be established?. Was the chain of command being designed to be in an order of hierarchy as defined in the hadith of the prophet peace and blessings be upon him that none could act or react without the leader’s (Imam) consent? Were the new recruits substantially well trained to match the enemy’s military capability or there was an immature rush into an attack which might have been provoked deliberately?. Was the sole intention to fight against an occupation by Ethiopian Christian rule or was it partially tarnished by other personal or tribal antagonism and challenge? Some of the secularists, for instance, while being bitter opponents to Islamic system, may oppose the current government too. They are against it for personal causes such as tribal adversary or principle antipathy such that they would render sympathy to another secular government led by their men!. The sympathy and antipathy, like and dislike, association and dissociation should be based only on one’s obedience and disobedience to Allah respectively. Should these conditions be available in those who defend the truth and justice, only then could the war be won.
Look at how the socialist, Baa’thist, nationalist movements in the Muslim world perished. The Nasserite’s reign of the Muslim world lasted for nearly four decades, they placed their whole reliance on the former Soviet Union and despised the religious approach to the problems. They admired their godfathers such as Karl Marx, Lenin who said religion is opium to the people, Stalin and other icons in the communist world. In Barre’s regime, in communist horn of Africa, the socialists tried their best to impose communism by orientating and brainwashing according to instructions relayed from the former USSR. Arab communist leaders who sought support from the former Soviet Union lost the wars against Israel. Now that socialism is thing of the past, secularism, liberalism, modernism, is taking over to appease the globalism and new world order. The colonists should have carefully studied the mentality of the freed colonies. Who can imagine that the British used same group who were active in the national movements, socialists and secularists to establish an Arab league under the guidance of their British master. The colonists always played the advanced ahead game which the colonies could not, let alone keep pace, perceive its subtle treachery. It was more of favourable to the British and French that there should be a league brought together and set up by them than the initiative were emanated from necessity for it and conscience of the people. This trick is known as let us do it for them to block their efforts in the future. Whenever there is a Muslim ethnic community in a non Muslim world, the governments pretend to be funding a local or Muslim community newspaper loyal to it in advance in order to control and curb future independent media.
The secularists, liberals and socialists in the Muslim world are a burden on the rest of the Muslims and a tool for the former colonists. They are the still surviving link or say the media through which the colonists transfer their ideologies and reach out to the people. The Muslim world today lags behind a step whereby the colonists have got the chance to develop more advanced tricks while the former is still disorientated and struggling to escape and survive the previous one. The secularists, liberalists, modernists and socialists have wrong perception about Islam. Most of them are completely ignorant of its teachings. Unfortunately they blindly follow the apprehending and dreadful implications and interpretations thereof as fabricated by the orientalists. They derive the knowledge about Islam from non Muslim sources which has sown in them confusion. They see to the Islamic way of life as out dated, backward, monotonously dogmatic lacking to engage the current modern status of the world. From science to social life, they adorn the western culture and civilization, demanding to modernize and update Islam. The beautifully and purely veiled woman is naked of the world civilization, the western culture, and the young devout man who leads a life of purity and decency constitutes the odd mullah who should be whipped up to get electrostatic spasms which would motivate him to rebel against his lifestyle. A very thrilling ghost or a silhouette of Islam which put them in constant nightmare, invisible to all others, is standing in front of them. They should understand that the defect is not with the Islamic text as much as it is with the ignorant people who, as mentioned above, misinterpret the text for their personal interests. I wish they paid reference to the genuine and authentic Islamic sources on the status and issues of women in Islam.

Can we get the most important points boiled down for us ?
I don't want to take the time to meticulously comb through all of this text and try to assemble the general meanings.
Maybe someone else does ?
