The so-called labor in the US usually supports demos, but they are NO labor party. Just a bunch of rich boyz promising whatever it takes to get the support.

Define worker. I own a business but I work, so I'm a worker. Bill Gates owns a business, but he works, so he's a worker. The Mexicans next door work at a lawn care company, so they work. The sales guys at the car dealership sell cars as a job, so they work.
And it's not bull shit that the Democrat party is the party of unions.

Since the US is a two-party system, all factions tend to fold into one of the major parties. Labor tends to fold into the Democratic Party.
But then you might say that most European countries have a Labor Party(or equivalent, like Social Democratic Party) that is a majority party all by itself.
True, but the US is different. The US, except for some left-wingers has never had an adversarial relationship with business except for the brief period when unions first started to fight for their rights. Citizens generally see themselves as workers, consumers, and business owners/investors. In Europe, people are more likely to be workers first, consumers a distant second(consumer spending is much lower in Europe), and a minority are business owners or investors. So business has less influence there than here.
In the US, something like 65% of Americans are investors or business owners, so obviously that's going to make labor's power limited. Heck, the labor force is only about 60% of the population, so it would seem that in the US, labor is actually outnumbered.
