6.) Marijuana has no deaths from OD or as a direct result from use, while tobacco has about 400,000 a year and alcohol has about 85,000 a year in the US alone.

This bullshit over weed is making us look like a bunch of ass clowns. And like you said, meanwhile people are destroying themselves with meth. If they're going to "enforce" drug laws, they need to get their priorities straight, or they need to legalize them and say F it.

Not to say that they don't bust meth labs, but just from looking at local and state news, and knowing a few people "who know people" I don't think they're working on meth as hard as they do weed.

The sad part is the DEA is working hard at spending tax payers dollars to battle medical marijuana clinics that the majority of the public voted for in california. When the money could better be used to battle meth and heroin.

The DEA and federal anti-drug agencys deny that marijuana has any medical purposes what-so-ever. The ignorence of these agencies is astounding and when a state chooses to ignore the stupidity of these agencys the DEA swoops in and starts raiding clinics and seizing property. This is the United STATES of America not the FEDERAL Government of America.

Actually I don't even get all this "legalize marihuana" movement. Why can't people smoke pot at home with your friends, nobody know, nobody would incriminate you. Why do people have to smoke pot on the streets and in every place, becouse that's the point of legalizing it. Legalizing wouldn't probably give people the right to grow weed so what's the difference?

At least locally, I hear a whole lot more about meth labs being busted up than I do pot farms being raided.

THC pills have been out for a long time. It's just not happening. THC doesn't have much health benefits (nor does pot). I'm not saying that pot should stay illegal, but it's just not a healing drug, it's a recreational one.
