Universal Healthcare, For? Against?

I just wanted to see how many people were for it and how many are against it. I am for it.

I'm in favor of healthcare for all citizens, regardless of their ability to pay premiums. My concern would be the form that such a healthcare system would take and how it would be funded. Perhaps a privatized but government controlled system such as the US Post Office.

Until I see specific proposals I remain undecided.

I think the most important thing is that the government NOT be involved other than to pay. Bureaucratic and unionized government workers did not go to medical school and will not have input of value. The health of the patient is the important thing.

I support healthcare reform, but so far it has no champion, or.....at least champion who knows anything at all about the healthcare industry.

I believe in Universal healthcare and if one can't pay it then the government can by grants! which seem hard to get!

define universal. if it is private universal, yes. socialized healthcare, hell no.

Ultimately, it’s the individual who controls health care costs. Stay healthy.

By universal heathcare, I mean free heath care. Or in your opinion "socialized health care". And why are you against free heath care?

Taxes, big government, government's lack of ability to run such big corporations and that I shouldn't have to pay for someone elses' faults. health care is not a God given right. If you want health care, you have to earn it.
