Lets start with me. Everyone gets healthcare. Ive talked to poeple that have gone to the doctor over in Europe somewhere, and they just raved about how good the medical care system was. They loved how they were treated by the doctors and the attention they recieved. No one would be without health care, therefore you wouldnt have to pay for it through your company (but of course in taxes), and this allows people who work for a company that doesnt give =good heath care a chance to visit the doc every onece in a while. If everyone is paying for it in taxes, then it's no one is nessesarily getting free health care./

So since I don't want it I hate it? You know Time Magazine did something similar to this a few months ago. The put a picture of Hillary on the cover and you had to check one of two boxes and mail it back to Time. One box said Lover her, the other box said Hate her. So if you were against her you just automatically hate her. I love how the left does this.

And yes, I'm against Universal Health care. And yes, health care is not a right.

I'm very sorry that i didnt give you more options. I didnt think that people would actually stick to choosing between those two. Next time ill try and think of how the left works, and not do that.

Isn't Hillary the one that said it takes a village to raise an idiot?

I don't 'hate' the idea. The concept is very attractive in name and I'm sure it works very nicely in other countries. However, to compare the "grand paradise" of Universal Healthcare in European countries where the population is much smaller than ours and the respective cultures are incredibly different in regards to attitudes facing health and wellness (and don't forget costs and preservation) -- frankly, it sort of makes me laugh. Universal healthcare would be ineffective in a country such as this. It seizes money from the people or seizes time from doctors to provide the health care.

We do, however, need to find a way of providing suitable healthcare for those that are not as fortunate as us. A government insurance up to a premuim level maybe? How about providing a subsidy to HMO providers if they offer a limited service to the poor and needy that the gov't pays for? Leave the medical establishment all the same, our gov't will be the corporate underwriters for the uninsured (which they are anyway, just not efficiently).

Those aren't definitive plans that I would stamp my name on...just some ideas.
