If I had to describe American culture, I'd say it emphasizes individuality and creativity, and glorifies wealth, hard work, social status, and material possessions. I partially subscribe to the "melting pot" theory as well; many different and diverse cultures have offered significant contributions to make our culture what it is today.

do americans also think europeans talk with soft voices? (except spanish..)
The Dutch can be quite loud and brash.

I guess the melting pot theory is one that is a double-edged sword. I think that humans in general have a way of wanting to seperate themselves from people who look or act different. I think it's primitive.

I tend to agree.

My views on Americans: they rule!!!

I guess that's not ok for a lot of us non-Americans; but I personnaly prefer to live in a world ruled by the US than any other country as far as I know.

How about not being "ruled" at all?

The image of Americans as wholesome, God fearing etcera individuals who ooze justice & liberty etcera is not what i buy... This delusional image is what i percieve as flagwaving Americans wanting to believe. The reality is the poor stay poor, the incarceration stats tell it all... The cheap, pumped up, commericalized culture guzzled up by the mainstream dominates & spits out it's pathetic cheap thrills... Yet there are Americans who resist the delusions... I am tired of the entrenched BS Americans exemplify the brave and the free... Tired of their pig ignorance re other cultures Tired of their entrenched 'race' pecking order whilst they shout we are all equal... Anyone with half a brain could see Americans are often shackled & gutless wonders who do not fight against the corruption... A primary example the war in Iraq... We all know who the true terrorists of the world are The suits...

Have i said enough Nope U inivited opinions ahaha

Well debating with many Americans is like talking to a brick wall... The pervasive delusion they are the primary culture/nation in the world distorts their ability to even grasp there are other nations outside of their own... And the most revolting aspect of Americans imo is their utilizing a version of Christianity which is a false version... The big 'white' wholesome Jesus who smiles down on all the BS of cultural denigration and celebrates delusional superiority...

Many Americans do imo fit the stereotypes Bloated on delusions & burgers!! thought i would throw that in & the rah rah flag waving palava whilst clinging to gimme more in every aspect many Americans are just pathetic illustrations of spiritual, intellectual and physical decay. The McDonald World of BS is complete.

I do not listen to the elite Americans I listen to the voices that are silenced or crushed... the 'little people'... The millions of 'little people' slogging out their existence whilst the elite smirk with greed... Genocidal practices takes many forms... Sanitized genocide America illustrates strongly...

Do i hate Americans No Hate is a generalized response... I despise the most prominent aspect that radiates out from America. That being: The grandiose delusion all pervasive ='s we are just so freaking important & special

Well news for you retro babies U ain't! All cultures are important All nations are important America u should be made redundant... (truth is in many ways America is ahaha)

I think your view of Americans is just as over-generalized, exaggerated and inaccurate as the viewpoint you pretend to be repudiating. I think you have "The cheap, pumped up, commericalized culture" correct but otherwise from these comments you appear to have no actual knowledge of what ordinary American people are like as if everything you know is from some neoconservative you chatted with on the internet (and as if American culture is homogeneous and monolithic).
