We formed a new country in 2003 called the Principality of Snake Hill, by secession from Australia.
The secession was accepted and we have had some recognition from government ministers in Australia and other countries as well as from NGOs.

We seceded because two of our properties were stolen, we were threatened with the theft of all of our properties, and the authorities failed to protect us.
