How to dispute moderator penalties or complain

There are many moderators on the Political Forum of diverse ideological and national backgrounds, and when called upon, they will review the comments made by any individual moderator. To avoid the de-railing of threads, any complaint against a moderator-issued post or infraction, must be made using the report post button.

Here's a simulated comment by a forum moderator:

Here's how a simulated poster might report that comment:

------------------------------------------------------------
Here's how a simulated poster might fill in that comment:

Please note that the simulated comments in this demonstration are fictional and represent a poor complaint, which would not be upheld.
  • Describe how you think the infraction or post is unfair
  • Do not put direct or implied insults towards any moderator in your complaint
  • Do not tell us what we should do with any moderator
Meritorious claims will be taken seriously. Vacuous claims will not.

Thank you very much and have a pleasant day.

Discuss the issue, not the poster.

You don't have to destroy the other guy to "win" the debate. People on the forum are not stupid and can see the merit or lack of merit in someone's comments if you show the flaws in their argument.
