There seems to be a new pan European news channel online.

It covers all issues of European concern from an European perspective. It should be pronounced, from an European perspective not a national one. Further it seems mention worthy that this new channel that has its headquarters in Maastricht recieves no general funding from the EU and looks to finance itself through advertisement. But as I have seen now also from paid repots, those are marked as such however.
Its nearly entirely in English as far as I can see, so it might be also an interesting address for Americans looking for some insight into the European Union and the issues at stake.
It will be the second Europe news channel with a pan European perspective I am aware of. The other one is EURONEWS. This channel seems to have a larger budget and is available in different languages, and is broadcasted by ASTRA satellites. (perhaps also others I am not aware of). It offers online TV however only against payment. The single stories and reports are however available in form of texts and videos for free.
