People in power are the same. They just allow more freedom than before - they learnt from their mistakes. Press in Russia is definitely not free. Recently there was a newspaper closed down after it published news about Putins girlfriend. Russia also likes to blackmail and threaten its neighbours. No wonder its not liked by its neighbours. It's not about communists in power at all.

We are discussing Russia and not you. I do not blame you for anything. I'm sure Russia is a beautiful country, unfortunately its government does a good job at scaring off potential visitors. Also people with non white skin tend to be attacked in Russia frequently.

Why do you think so? It's a lie! I have many nextdoors and friends with non white skin (from Armenia, Georgia, Dagestan etc.); they feel safe here.
I even have a good friend from Maroc. He afraid to walk alone at first but now he doesn't fear, cause nobody wants hurt him.
Of cource there was some accidents (in the city of Voronezh, for example). But in most cases they are not depended on their skin color. In our country a man of any color can be harmed by a man of any color.

The most ironic part of all this to me is how commy we have gotten anyways. . .Why did we even bother with the cold war?

I don't care where we build them, I don't care if we build these ICBM killers anyways at this point. I mean keep tinkering by all means, but I don't see the point of dropping tons of cash on stuff that has a low chance at being effective anyways.

Should be spending more on drones. . .be anywhere with any chosen payload in minutes, thats what counts.
