I do have black neighbors and they are doing pretty fine actually. Lots of them are even attending Sunday school in the Church nearby. Of course things could be better for them here; but it could be worse too if they lived in, say, Russia?

You may be don't know, that Ukraine was a part of Russsia and was not a country before revolution of 1917. First RUSSSIAN city was Kiev - a capital of Ukr nowadays. Russian history started from the land of Ukraine! Our
forefathers lived there and we GIFT UKRAINE their freedom!!! Don't mix interrelations of our governs with interrelations of our nations!

Georgias nation in XVII century ASKED RUSSIA TO PROTECT it of Turkeys and to be a part of Russia and we gift them freedom too!

P.S. If you are fool in Russian history you'd better to talk about other things

Do you really think that western countries only have immigrants because of their past colonialism? I'd say that's because western countries allowed them to get in in the first place. Not the same can be said about, say, Russia.

Well you were talking about black dudes weren't you? And you were the one who brought up happiness in this debate weren't you?

Anyway let's go back to the main concern here: BORDERS... As The Lying Dutchman said, a lot of countries used to live in fear because of their Russian border, and a lot still does... Mexico and Canada have no fear about US tanks taking over as far as I know!

to The Lying Dutchman:
We all were unfree under Red Moskow. The 'Red' part of our history is bad but it's gone!
Just Georgia's gov. hate us because we deal with Abhazia & South Osetia (not really historical parts of Georgia).
People of our countries live in friendship!

Time has passed but America won't stop itself if would want something else (oil for example).
Russia was also agressive - it conquered siberian tribes and expanded its territory there. It invaded and annexed part of Finland, annexed Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, part of Poland, annexed Besarabia from Romania. At least Russians didn't kill off the native population, they mostly Russified it, and settled with Russians. Next wave of stealing land will begin when vast oil reserves are confirmed in antarctica and arctic ocean.

Lately there was a survey in Czech republic about what nations they like, score is from 0 to 100, 100 being like, 0 dislike.
Slovaks - 88
Austrians - 74
Poles - 66
Germans - 60
Russians - 32

Czechs still haven't forgotten Russian invasion in 1968.
