I believe they are saying he was posoned with thalium (?). I believe that a bunch of people have been killed with this method, before and after the breakup of the USSR.

Yes, I think he had proof that the Russian govt was the cause of the bombings blamed on Chechen rebels. I am not a chemist but I heard he may need a bone marrow transplant--does thalium cause leukemia?

It's like a James Bond story. Feed the guy Polonium and after you are safely out of the country he gets sick. You have to admit these guys are slick.

They have now closed the hotel bar and the restaurant he ate in, presumably with his assassins, due to radiation found there.
