Kind of sad, isn't it? One would imagine that if you can't win over the minds of people, you have no chance of winning by force.

This is where anarchism departs company from communism I guess.

Yeah, I guess that's one strand of communism. Anarchists (who still basically advocate communism) do not advocate violence. They advocate that people simply resort to civil disobedience. Don't pay your taxes and go to jail. The system will not be able to survive if many people do this. That's what I got out of Thoreau anyway.

This from the guy who advocates nation building and claims that several popular uprisings hav been put down through pure force??

You can't have it both ways, WEB. I think you need to seriously consider sittign down and working a logic chart on some of your ideals.
