So what? If there is a thread on it, that's where you ought to post, unless you have a different idea along those lines.

Or a point to make.

Oooooooo, wait - isn't it liberals who've demanded that religion be kept out of politics?

EVERY religion says it is the one "true" religion. What did you expect from the Christian bible?

2/3 of Global warmings causes are natural. We are nothing more than a catalyst for a natural process that cannot be stopped. The Earth has been warming since the Ice Age, underwater volcanos, solar winds etc. are mostly causing the Earth to warm. I consider myself an environmentalist and I do not buy the we have to regulate emissions arguement. There are worse shit going into the atmostphere than Co2. Bush signed some law when he entered office that increased how long factories could wait before cleaning their smokestacks, causing an increase in mercury poisoning from locals who ate fish from nearby natural water sources. No one is going after Bush or the Republicans for that.

Surely you can't be saying these emissions are GOOD for us? People in Japan walk around with paper masks in Tokyo, some days the air in Mexico City is almost lethal and until California put in some serious pollution laws, some days you could barely see the city of L.A.

And as for global warming. I'm no scientist and I don't claim to know the answers, but I DO notice there seem to be a lot more people in the scientific community that say we are, if not causing it outright, are making it much worse, much faster, than say the opposite.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen any kind of legitimate, reliable study on just what that ratio is between scientists who claim we cause it as opposed to those who say we don't?
