Gore's Film Wins Oscar
YOu go boy!
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Former vice president Al Gore used the success of his documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth" to expand his efforts to educate people about global warming - and to tell a few jokes.
The film turned Gore's road show about climate change into a film that won Academy Awards for best documentary and best song.
Gore also teased a bit Sunday night about his plans to possibly make another presidential run, although backstage, he said he was not a candidate.

He is smart and despite Bush not too proud of that. I can’t help comparing them.
In 2000 without being aware of the huge difference between them, I wanted Gore to win.
I know America is not my country, but the election results in the US can effect everybody’s life, besides been entertained by Americans almost my whole life, I’ve been always enthusiastic of the events related to America.

This is a bit off-topic, but I'm just curious, Rak. Who do you like for 08? McCain or Giuliani? I'm guessing that you haven't made up your mind yet and are waiting to see what positions Giuiliani is going to take. If I had to guess, I'd say that you are a Giuiliani man.

I actually have had a few run ins with some lefties since my USPOL days. I can say that many liberals have begun to piss me off with their blatant lying. I mean, I don't know if it is a liberal thing or not, but a few of the ones I've met recently have an agenda (i.e. don't disagree with me or don't call me out for being partisan) but then they have to lie and make up some bullshit slander or lie, when all they are really saying is "don't cross my liberal ideology." There was one liberal on the board and she practically wanted me to wait on her hand and foot, censoring whomever she wanted. She wanted me to take action on a thread, and then when I took action and moderated a thread (but did not publicly whip the conservatives) she started saying that I was revealing the contents of her PM to the whole board.
On the other hand, there was this one conservative idiot who was going around talking trash about Christianity and threatening other posters and then had the nerve to call ME immature when I told him that this was against the rules. I think that stupidity is not a partisan trait after all.

I would like to see Edwards run. I think that this country will not go for a Black Democrat. A black republican, we can do, but not a black democrat. Hillary, I really don't like because she's a stupid bitch, to be quite frank. Her recent whine was quite pathetic. "I'm not in favor of taking away funding from our troops, just the Iraqi troops." Oh yeah, that's not so bad.
As far as the boring thing, well.....I don't think boring is a really important personality trait to judge someone on, but that's just me.

Obama is not bad. I like the kind of personality he projects. I don't buy into that character completely.
Obama projects moderation, bipartisanship, and he's black, so he's like a hero for black folks.
However, I do not like his anti-war stance. I find that to be blatant pandering. I wish that somehow the Democrats could get rid of Hillary, who is a fucking ball and chain and a rope around the neck of the Democratic Party. Then we could really see a good combination of President - Vice President with Obama in it.
