What the hell does John McCain or Bush have to do with this thread? Please tell me?
Virtually all scientists? That is a bold face misrepresentation of the issue. No, it is not true that most scientists believe in man made GW. In fact there are becoming more skeptics of it.
DOnt people find it interesting how the change in wording has caused a better political issue out of this? It has gone from global warming, which only encompasses 1 variation in climate, to all in all climate change, which can be used to blanket any event on Earth. Touche to the fascist communist who figured that one out.

They illustrate the meaning of the term, "wacko."

Virtually all scientists means a majority of scientists. "Now that most scientists agree human activity is causing Earth to warm, the central debate has shifted to whether climate change is progressing so rapidly that, within decades, humans may be helpless to slow or reverse the trend." - Debate on Climate Shifts to Issue of Irreparable Change - washingtonpost.com

Scientific terminology changes according to new scientific information.

Warming hasnt occured since 1998. So how can mad be causing it when we continue to pump more CO2(which is not a pollutant by the way) into the atmosphere?
Do I need to post the links.....................................again?

The fact that you don't see your own parties fear mongering is indeed ironic. I mean it is one thing to believe in global warming but climate change is as he already said, anything, so how is that not fear mongering?

Again, science refutes your position. I respect your opinion, but I side with the majority of scientists that have proven your points wrong.

The links you posted (which I read through) were not valid the first time around, so I see no point to re-post them, but of course it is your right to post them if it pleases you.

Here is the distinction, as I see it. To create fear where there is no cause for fear is fear-mongering. To alert people to an environmental crisis determined by the majority of scientists is a public service.

Yes but global warming is quantifiable and means something in the way we defined it. Climate change means nothing, it happens all the time and is happening as we speak, even if humans weren't here it would be happening right now.
It stinks, they need to come up with better reasoning and definitions. This all sounds like leftists scaring the population into action. . .sort of like some other scare tactics I support but its still the same tactic.
