It won't work WEB, the only way to do it right is to put in the Fair Tax.

He failed big time delivering to his base. President Bush is no conservative, he is a liberal. He's shown that by growing the size of government, not getting rid of the department of education, not privatizing social security, not protecting the boarders, etc... The ONLY things he has done to make me happy is the War on Islamic-Fascism, and the tax cuts. That's it.
As to the Democrats not taking the sane route, I don't think that they will. With Pelosi in charge she's going to make an ass out of your party.

Secondly, I think we have to fix Social Security and pay off our national debt. We've got to get the country's finances back into shape. This is just not healthy. As a country, we are no different than a person who owes like $40,000 and has put it on a debt consolidation plan and still continues to overspend $1,000 every month. All that money spent in interest is wasted money.

Take a look at the projected revenues that will come in after the Fair Tax is put in. Just be ready to pick your jaw up off the floor.
As to the schools, throwing money at it will not fix them. First you have to get rid of the unions. Then you can start to get somewhere.

She's a little more touched in the head than you give her credit for.

Opportunity is what you make of it.
As Rush said in the song Freewill:
Quote:
There are those who think that life is nothing left to chance,
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance.
A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot conceive.
"The stars aren't aligned
Or the gods are malign"-
Blame is better to give than receive.

By the way, Rush seems to be big fans of Rand.

I can make any excuse I want to fail. Be it my environment, or just because I don't feel like trying. Is it going to be harder? Yes, but it can be done.

Woah now partner, I'm am no republican, I fucking hate those ass holes.... the politicians anyways. I just think that as far as fighting terrorist, even though they haven't done 1/10 of the things that need to be done, they are a better option than liberal democrats who are the ones it seems that are running the show. They are also a better option than having the socialist democrats, blah, blah, blah, anyways. Their stances on most issues are just better.
Now then, I agree with you about making schools better in regard to class sizes and all, but with these government schools it will not matter. We must also get rid of the unions. Think about it, have you heard any of the stories about how government schools are doing away with the grading system, or doing away with midterms, or getting rid of finals? Why do you think they would do that? To make sure that every kid feels comfortable and confident? To be politically correct? Well maybe, but if you make the school system unfailable, so that no matter how much of a dumb fuck or slack ass a kid is they still "do well", then how can anyone bitch at the system?...... because all of the kids are passing right? If they can passify everyone with this bullshit then they do not loose their unions and the money that comes with them. And now-a-days parents have so little involvement with their jr high/ highschool age children that as long as they see that they are passing thats all they care about, they never spend enough time with them to see how fucking stupid they are.

Do you support the use of vouchers?
