A Better Question
After doing some reading yesterday I came across some info I would like to share with my comrades here.
The Congress is in recess so they can go home and spread the BS like peanut butter. We know that they make $165,000 and yr plus benefits we can only dream about. They work 3 dyas a week about 100 a yr. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
Only 11 bills became public law and these were passed in sept aznd oct. One was for funding for DHS, one was for funding for DOD, one was a wildlife program and one was to protect service people from shister salesmen, and these were appropriate. Check these, 3 were to rename PO's, 2 were about construction of a hydro plant, one was to name something Cheney and one was the reauthorize livestock reporting.
So basically 4 bills of substance in a year, not bad.
So my question is, why would we want any of the do nothing bums back?
I say term limits and a genuine recall plan. Since none of this will become law I then suggest--never vote for an incumbent! No matter what party, with that we could possibly start over without the bang bang.
