Why does Massachusetts keep electing Kennedy?

All I really have to listen to down here is conservative talk radio, so all I hear are the bad things about Kennedy. Is there a reason they keep electing him?

Massachusetts is backwards. that's all i can say. i'll never understand that state. i believe the reason why Kennedy keeps getting reelected is due to the name and name alone. (well... that and the money attached to the name). everyone in the state is in love with the Kennedys no matter what they do. Kennedy = Massachusetts

I was kind of hoping, but not really expecting, to hear some better reasons than that.

unfortunately i can't think of any better reasons. i spent 20 years of my life in that state and... let me tell you... the Kennedys are it in Massachusetts. i have been to JFK Museum on more than one occasion for field trips growing up.

It's a stupid, bassackwards state. We're all aware (or should be) of the shit that Mass. brings us. Nothing new. SSDD (same shit different day).

Kennedy keeps getting elected because liberal voters don't care about character.

REmember, they can only accuse conservatives of hypocrisy because they have no principles to begin with. If you have no principles, you can never be hypocritical.

Hehe, well... Massachusetts does bring new things. It's usually just not things that the rest of the state likes. However, as I said, the Kennedy is it in Massachusetts. Almost like it's own "royal family".
