The failure in Africa between states is many things but the resulting pressure that prevents resolution is the inability of countries in Africa to trade with each other. Almost every country in Africa trades with ONLY their former coloniser...this doesn't make for a well integrated economic unit to benefit wealth generation.

Well I am guessing that African countries lack the capital to invest in their own countries, thus necessitating trade with their former oppressors. I think Africa's problems is its tribalism and failure to work together as one nation. That's probably because those very nations were created in no meaningful way, just clumping together random sections of different tribes and calling them nations.
