India's infrastructure is a problem. Other than that, I think its economy is very promising.

China has a big problem. Its becoming in many areas too wealthy in for the cheap-cheaper-cheapest economy branch.

Soon we will have the chance to welcome China in the club of those where the industry moves towards cheaper less developed places.

Is there any reason that could not be less developed places in China?

THat has struck me as a big differance between China and former developing nations such as Japan and South Korea.

Thats true, there are less developed areas in China as well. That means for some time the cheaper alternative to "China" will be "China". But these poor regions will become scarcer and I think other countries will become a steadily growing competition of lowest cost productions.

China definitely has to look forward, beyond that segment. With the wealth of a developed country it will also start to face the problems of one.

Of course this development might not happen everywhere in China at the same time though, but if China does not want to experience severe social tensions and massive problems, it has to take care that also the poorer regions get their share in the development sooner or later.

In opinion of experts, the REALLY economicaly independent country must have commodity markets in 1,5 billion person.
The only two countries which can provide to themselves it in the nearest future is India and China.
Europe, Russia, USA and others will become their satellites.
The "Western project" is failed.
