My cooking diary

My cooking diary:

Today:
Rahmschnitzel vom Schwein

Creme Freche, pork-Schnitzel, flour, salt, marjoram, butter, soup

First salt and spice the pork, then add flour on one side. Than roast it in the pan. Add, butter and soup. After heating up again, take away the meat, and add flour, Creme Freche, and cook it until the sauce has a good consistency. Add the meat again and cook it with the sauce until its soft.

I had noodles as addition.

Easy but great meal. I'd hate to eat pizza every day.

Sounds good. I'm not the cook but I'll pass it along.

I am no great cook either. But I try to start building up some sortiment. I am fed up to have that ready made stuff each day. If I have time I cook something for myself.

I'm seeing a lot of good ideas on here of personal favorites but I fear the next thing we may need is a weight-watchers forum.

I hear you about MREs. The microwave seems to be the most popular item in the kitchen theses days. I think home cooked meals are a dying art.

I have not used the microwave for over a year, at least in Vienna. Don't need it.

Has it really come already that far in the US? But cooking can be fun. At least it can be a nice hobby. No one can say he has no time to cook, not even at the weekend.

Lifestyles seems to be changing. Everyone is on the go a lot, with many households having both parents working to keep up.

Here is how I look at food. I do not do the weight watchers stuff. Because the taste is just not there and you need taste.

Plain and simple without great taste food is boring like watching old people fuck in a Nursing home.

The doctor told me to watch my weight so I put it out front where I can keep an eye on it.

Yes, but no one works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And if I may ask, what are you eating then day in day out?

I mean the whole fast food stuff, gets so dreadful if one eats it for two weeks already.
