Ever had turkey brats? Grilled and basted with Jack Daniels BBQ sauce they are fantastic. I also soak them in beer before grilling. Excellent texture and not as heavy eating as regular brats. Grilled on a brat bun with brown mustard and onions. Great eating.

They can do almost ANYTHING with turkey these days. Turkey salami is one of my favorites and turkey burgers are very good.

Anyone here try a veggie burger? A for effort, C- for taste and F for old fashioned grill cooking.

Yup, I actually like Boca Burgers. They're best microwaved. Mustard, lettuce and tomato are a must. Not bad, but I wouldn't want a steady diet of them.

Seems to make sense to me that if you're going to put bacon on your Turkey, it might as well be beef you're puttin it on. The cholesterol in bacon will put you over the ledge and out the window by itself. Besides, a microwaved Boca tastes better to me than Turkey anyday. And as always.....lot's of tomato, red onion, lettuce and thousand island sauce...the boca tastes to me just like beef.

Try a black bean burger (good on the grill as well, but it is much quicker to cook than a meat burger). I prefer the black bean to the fake meat vegetarian burgers, as the black bean isn't pretending to be meat.

I've found that turkey burgers are really not that much better in terms of fat than most beef burgers, although I do like turkey sausage and turkey cold cuts.
