Thumbs up Baked Scallops

I bought a pound of fresh Sea Scallops today. I set the oven to 375 to preheat the oven

Then I took out a baking dish and a stick and a 1/2 of butter melted the butter placed the washed scallops in the dish then drizzled the melted butter over the top on the Scallops. Add bread crumbs with freah homamade Bacon bits . Baked for 20 minutes and Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww what a nice dinner served up with some Steak Fries and Peas. Yes it does not get any better then that folks

Thane the great guy he is. Has been bugging the shit out of me for more burger recipes that I have. But I have decided to put other recipes as well for all kinds of tastes

I love to eat and I love to cook. So from time to time when I make something in the kitchen I will post a great recipe.

I will also be doing wine recipes as well. Along with Brandy

So sit back and enjoy everyone.

Sloppy Joes

Let me throw in one of mine. I made this up by trial and error. Homemade sloppy joes. Pretty good. I'll suggest following the recipe as close as you CAN then adding more of certain things for flavor as you see fit.

For instance, some might like a LITTLE more molasses or cayenne pepper or even ketchup. Anywho, here it is:

Sloppy Joes

2 lbs. hamburger

1 onion

3-4 cloves garlic

finely chop onion and garlic and saute' until almost carmelized. Add hamburger and fry well (fully browned)

Drain

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Add rest of ingreidients with drained burger-onion mix and bring to a light boil then turn down and simmer 10-30 min. more.

11/2-2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 Cup ketchup
6-ounce can tomato paste
15-ounce can tomato sauce
2 tsp chili powder
1-2 tsp. cayenne pepper powder (to taste)
1T. molasses
1tsp. salt
1/2 C. water

All you need are some good buns and you know what to do now :-)

Thane to enhance the flavor of your recipe. Try Beef Broth instead of water.

That is a nice recipe.

Hmmmm... yeah that probably would enhance it a bit. Like I said, this is a recipe that I cobbled together from about 4 or 5 other recipes I found and tried it and it was good. It is certainly a recipe made for tweaks according to taste though. Sure is good though.

I think it would be cool where ever you think it (w)should go best. Between me and sg I think we might get a nice little food sideforum goin'.

Maybe trade and try recipes and cooking hints and tips and stuff. Might be cool, we'll see
