The trouble is you can't laugh and say something clever, they'll just arrest you on the spot.
I know what happened with the terrorists is not funny, and I understand that but really don't they know that nobody is going to admit that they are carrying drugs or a bomb or whatever, until it is too late.
When my son went to Hawaii, he thought it was hysterical that they took his finger nail clippers away, he asked the guy, how do you kill some with with fingernail clippers, the security guy was not amused, he just said "I'm only doing my job". So he had to buy clippers in Hawaii and then throw them away before the flight home.
