Exclamation The Government wants your Guns

I must warn all freedom loving Americans that the city State and Federal governments wants to confiscate all your guns rifles and ammunition.
The recent supreme court hearings on the Washington D.C. gun ban is a prelude
to a much wider Supreme court ruling. We as Americans must not allow the government to disarm us.

You speak of the government as a single entity or at least of a single mind. This is not the case. While Liberal Democrats have a history of anti-gun sentiment and activity, most Conservative Republicans are pro-gun. Similarly with the judges sitting on the Supreme Court, some may be anti-gun, but several have been appointed by Bush, who likely considered their conservative bent before appointing them. The unfortunate fact for gun owners at this point is that none of the presidential candidates are pro-gun, not even McCain. Therefore, it does not look good for the Second Amendment in the coming years.

I have a feeling that the Supreme Court is going to declare the Washington DC gun ban unconstitutional. The arguments presented on behalf of the law didn't have much merit from what I gathered.

When government moves to disarm its citizens, tyranny dictatorship, and totalitarianism lingers in the background.
I am convinced there is a conspiracy to
disarm American citizens.

I agree...However, it is mostly limited to several anti-gun groups like those of Sara Brady et. al. And supported by Liberals. It is not the Federal, State, or local governments in general.

No, I don't think it's a conspiracy, just a misunderstanding of reality on the part of legislators. Many liberals think (I am a liberal libertarian) that since guns make it easy to kill people, reducing guns will reduce violent crime. However, laws trying to restrict gun ownership mostly keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. The criminals do not feel bound by the law, and will still be able to obtain weapons through a black market. Only now, they'll know that their victims will probably not be armed. Therefore, right-to-carry policies are essential for reducing crime by making harder targets for criminals, which will discourage some types of crime, especially burglary + robbery.
