That is part of the reason it was 100% safe.

ROFLMAO - In otherwords its so safe that they have to have a doctor standing by in case someone actually dies from it (e.g. they stop breathing or their heart stops) then they can attempt to revive the victim!!!!

People fail to realize that waterboarding can kill a person by initiating a heart attack or stoke perhaps more easily than actually drowning them. It is a life threatening experience no matter what those that endorse it claim.

By that line of thinking we should not have our military go on runs because they may have a heart attack.

They can not stop breathing, and their heart will not stop. The doctors were there to make sure it was been applied correctly.

It is now illegal, and not being used anymore. What more do you want?

It's NOT AT ALL DANGEROUS, it's a psychological fear, there is NO danger to waterboarding.

We cannot have torture for the same reasons we have the geneva convention. POWs getting tortured. terrorists using it back at us to see security and building layout. The problem is people think torture is a one way weapon but it is not. Another reason is you use torture to find info. That means you may end up torturing someone who is innocent and does not know information. I don't know about you but it would suck being tortured to find info about something i have no idea about.

There are people claiming something different. That its not simulating drowning, but the body of the victim actually fully react to it like to drowning. The body, not the mind.

Maybe you can back up your claim by some independent experts. That would maybe discount those claims of those who say that its not a simulation but actual drowning that is just stopped before it causes lasting damage.
