Saddam's Trial

It would seem that Saddam was a bad boy again and was thrown out of court.

What do you think of the trial?

OK I will go first--every time they run Saddam out of court it just puts another nail in the coffin and the people who watch it start thinking that it is a kangaroo court.

Hardly. That's the way things are handled all over the world. When anyone in the courtroom makes a ruckus, he or she gets run out. Simple as that.

Maybe so--but perception is everything and if the people preceive that he is not getting a fair trial--more probs will arise.

The Iraqis think his trial is too fair, if anything.

The only problems are with outsiders. Their opinion is meaningless since they have neither legal authority or guns.

If there is a link about what the Iraqi people feel about the trial, may I have it? I agree that outsiders have no place interferring in the trial, that includes the US and its butt boys. If there is a consensus among the Iraqi people I would like to see it. I ask this because there are few opinions of the Iraqis, only those who are massaging the postrate of the US.

Some little help..

Interesting statistics I came across are that as of October 2005, all provincial courts are operational; 135 of 869 judges were removed because of substantial evidence of corruption or Ba’ath Party affiliation. This was in October of last year I believe. The estimated need is for is for 1,500 judges according to the US Department of Justice, but I think that they are only up to about 750.

QUESTION TO IRAQIS: Thinking about any hardships you might have suffered since the US-BRITAIN INVASION, do you personally think that ousting SADDAM HUSSEIN was worth it or not?

here is my question concerning the Saddam trials.

if what he did back in the 80s-early 90s was a "crime against humanity" or whatever.... why was he not put on our 'most wanted' list and an attempt not made to arrest him/try him then?
