in any other endeavor or subject you would never think .00002 of the people who have experienced this subject or event would amount to anything

but here you are , and others on other sites touting this as an event

if .00002 of some REPUBLICAN MINDED people did anything, and say a devout Republican on this board(there are not many really so i cant use a example sorry) posted it

it means jack there are always digruntled people with every war

alot of people dont want to fullfill their obligations that they volunteered to do, by serving in wars , so they come up with CO status or just go AWOL

others go , most in non combat areas that see combat but not as bad as say a infantryman , and come back with the prospects of going again , and again and get cold feet or just get angry about that and speak out

some are hard charging people who have had to kill (combat arms) and now dont want to and they speak out

some are truly people who really have fault in the policies , execution and direction of this conflict

so you can take you.00002 and break them down amongst those groups and you end up with maybe 20 who are legit

the rest just want to get fame and fortune like a " KERRY" or start a political career (ref LT Reicheck 2004 DNC Convention)

IF IN uniform WITH OFFICIAL TITLE , PROTESTING A WAR or the PRESIDENT

they should be hammered and dishonorably discharged and if you need precendence so you can NOT type YOU ARE A PARTISAN RAKKASAN

go back to the 90's and clinton , alot of generals got the boot for speaking out for it is the UCMJ not the president that governs what a soldier can and can not say in uniform or while in the military (using official titles)

and these dudes or dudettes if they do will be breaking those rules

(BTW whistleblower clause doesnt apply in my eyes under this situtation)

Your figure may be accurate, but those expressing their desire to be removed is growing. Most are not "traitors" or "unpatriotic" they instead see thsat NO progress is being made in Iraq and think it is a waste of lives, money and time. To me, if you have been involved with the action your opinion matters and since I have been where they are now, their opinions need to be heard, whether you like it or not.

i think my original vibe i caught of you on USPOL is correct

you dont want other opinions you just want to pontificate and have people agree with you

nice try, i stated that your data is flawed

all i am stating is that you( since this a heated subject for you i see ) and they are the minority

this doesnt represent anything in real terms for its such a small percentage of the Warriors who have gone over there

Any dissent needs to be heard, I believe that is called democracy, maybe not what you consider to be democracy. As far as flawed info, all info is flawed when only one side is given.

What if they were dissenting by saying that our strategy was ineffective and that we need to just bomb the hell out of the place? I guaran-damn-tee you that you would find a lot more soldiers in favor of increased fire power and getting the job finished for good. Would you be willing to listen to that opinion?
