FBI Inflames "Terrorists".

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's military wing, Saraya al-Quds, is threatening to strike U.S. interests in the Middle East if its leader is harmed.
The organization's threats Tuesday come a day after the Federal Bureau of Investigation posted a $5 million reward for information leading to Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ramadan Shallah, on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list.
Saraya al-Quds warned the U.S. administration, in a statement made available to United Press International in Gaza, against harming Shallah "or any other symbol of Palestinian resistance."
The movement said should any physical harm come to its leader, "Islamic Jihad will threaten U.S. interests in the entire region. The American intelligence services and their agents in the region will face a wave of forceful operations targeting all American interests.

At this point was this offer necessary?

If he's killed Americans, he needs to be arrested. Would it really be a good idea to not seek to arrest people accused of crimes if it's politically inconvenient to do so?

Why do you say "If he's killed Americans he needs to be arrested?" As far as I'm concerned, if he's killed PEOPLE he needs to be arrested! But, yes, as you say, the poitics should not matter when people are being killed.

Don't they already try to do this anyway?

There isn't enough money in the US, or in the WORLD for that matter, that would cover the bounty on everyone in the Middle East alone who hate us.

The time is long past to figure who threw the first punch. What we need to do, while maybe not actually negotiating with these people, is figure out what makes them tick. Since we have maybe a half-dozen Islamic interpreters in the Pentagon it seems we don't really care.

But naturally, the people who RUN this country's foreign policy won't be the ones who get hit when these fanatics strike us. And they WILL strike us in time.
