Guatamala Ahead In Un Balloting
It would seem that Guatamala is ahead in the balloting for UN Security Council seat. They are the choice of the US.

Below is a few action alerts pertaining to Guatamala.

Guatemala also has seen a genocide on its indian population not too long ago

The only reason why the Bush administration is supporting their candidature is to keep Chavez out. Guatemala is also to small and poor to show up too self confident in international institutions and has a right wing governement.

Seeing how Chavez is training Muslims on how to pass as Hispanic, I can see why President Bush is not supporting him.

Because he sees any enemy of the US as a friend of his. If he actually read Chomsky, he would understand the problem with this line of thinking.

I believe there is always some form of uprising in Guatamala, at least for the past 30 yrs.
