They are the same thing over there. Yes, the words do mean two different things, but those that are over there that are called insurgents are really terrorists.

whose doing is that? if they are terrorists then they should be called terrorists. if they are insurgents then they should be called insurgents. by calling all insurgents "terrorists" then we allow ourselves to believe that none of them are worth talking to and they all want "our freedom to be destroyed" and whatnot. there are those who want us out of their country and there are those who want to "destroy the American way of life" (or whatever).

They all need to die as far as I care. And the sooner the better. They are terrorists, and it's by their own choice, so... you just kill them, you don't talk to them.

The people to talk to are the elected Iraqi government. Any agreement with the US is going to be very temporary because we won't be there much longer.
