So is the name "Napoleon Bonaparte" so what is your point? You are so ultra-paatriotic, yet you seem to forget the way that China the country that used to be an empire was brought to it's knees by a country a fraction of the size. (not to mention the deviding of China by the foreign powers.) It seems to me that your favorite tactic on this forum is to derail the discussion with rhetorical attacks on the other person's nationality or person, and it shows the weakness of your argument. It seems in your eyes China=good rest of the world = bad. When I am proven wrong on something, I admit it, as I have done on this thread. Just a thought.

Hahaha. Nice try, Luke. But "se rendre" ("to surrender") has only a limited correspondence with English (for those guys can put up a very good resistance); while "parley" ("parler") still sounds very French...

Yes, Chinese Qing Dynasty was defeated by Sun Never Set Empire in 1842, and Sun Rise Empire in 1895. As a result, HongKong, Taiwan and Korea became colonies. That was the era of the "Humiliation of China". Then eight strongest EuroAmerican Countries ganged it up and invaded China again. I am not ultra-nationalistic, since I admit all the history.

The saga of this ship still not over. It shows that unions can also be a power for good, it seems!

Zim run-off delayed for 90 days: Africa: Zimbabwe: News24
Still ilegal, but already better than already thought.
In the same breath, and this I heard from a well placed friend in the SANDF, so not in the news, no, I can not proof it, the SANDF has called up troops to the Zim border, for a so-called excerice no one knows about.
