Post Good Maps

I'm creating this thread as a place to post good maps, or perhaps other good sources of information (i.e. pie charts, tables, etc). I am going to sticky this thread at the top of this Political Science forum.

I found a good map of Bosnia's ethnic demographics in 1991. It really illustrates the problems of partitioning the country.

I also enjoy ethnic-liguistic maps; thanks for
your contribution with the Bosnian one.

Here is a good one on Pakistan and Afghanistan:

It helps illustrate what I think is the largest
issue of the region, namely that the Pashtun,
the ethnic group from which Taliban draws
most of its support, is spread widely in both
countries.

The Pashtun are the majority group in Afghanistan,
and the second largest of Pakistan, where they
comprise about 30% of the population.

This is the best site I know of for the current
and up to date US election scene:

And this is the best site for historical data
on US elections:

One of the best sites for finding demographics and maps of a country is www.ciafactbook.gov. I used to use it all the time for research projects and still do every now and then when researching stuff for the forum.
