L.E. Modesitt's books

Anyone here read any of Modesitt's books? I'm a fantasy person so I just started reading the saga of recluce series that he has written. They are now some of my favorites and Modesitt is seconded only to Frank Herberts dune series and maybe Lawrence Watt-Evan's dragon weather trilogy. You all should try reading his books

Dune comes close to the Lord of the Rings for me. The movie Dune of course couldn't come close to the book without being made with today's CG and be 8 hours long with huge narrative. Hey wait, a true to book miniseries remake huh? Not like the the cheesy Sci Fi series. Anyway......haven' read Modeistt, may have to check one out.
