I am not sure if this is the correct subforum for my thread but anyway, here I go.
As you know, Madrid is the capital of Spain.
There are 3 football (soccer) teams from Madrid playing the spanish 1st division Liga: Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Getafe F.C.
In order to sell new season tickets, Getafe F.C. launched this publicity campaing with pictures and videos. Here you have some of the pictures. In all of them you are watching Getafe FC football players, dressed up like Jesucristo. As you might imagine the spanish catholic authorities are absolutely upset with this pictures and so I am, even when I don't believe in any sort of God, but they seem to me offensive for those who really believe in God.
Anyway, do you remember the Mahoma cartoons and how many european politicians blamed the ducht newspaper for "freely offending muslims".
No one has said a word regarding this pictures in Spain. I mean if the one offended is the muslim religion......you are evil, you are looking for problems and troubles, you do not respect other's people belief, but folks, if the offended is catholic/christian religion, no one says a word, the freedom of speech as a reasoning to justify this pictures is always ready.
I'm really fed up of this europeans politicians pusilanimity.
