As aperson living in a country with a very racist past, let me tellyou that I share your pain. i just do not get it eiher. I do not uderstand this hate, but I also know this - there is no convincing them otherwise.

I see it as folow - I have anarachnophobia - which is defnied as the irrational fear f spiders etc. Thenpeople try and get me over it by giving me stats of how few spiders are actually dangerous. This is silly, it is called an IRATIONAL fear for a reason - facts have nothing to do with it.

It is the same with racism, it is an irrational fear. And you can't use reason to convince them otherwise. The best debater in the world, who also happens to be the smartest man in the world, will not cinvince them oterwise.

thats not a fair analogy, because i hate spiders too, and if your analogy is correct then that means on some level im a racist, and then what the point of telling racist people how wrong they are?

Fear of something can not be remedied without a willingness on the part of the individual to want to overcome said fear.

In the case of the racists, they clearly do have that willingness.

What? Where did you get that from? Thati s not even close to what I said, jeez. My point was trying to explain that thre is such a thing a irrationlal fear, and that rational thought and debate can not change that.

Racism is irrational, and rational debate will not make them change their minds.

No where did I call you (or myself for that matter) a racist.

sorry for assuming too much into what you said, i thought you were saying that hatred of spiders is just as bad as hatred of people. and i really hate spiders, and those giant mosquitoes (people call them "mosquito eaters" but i know thats a lie! they are just giant mosquitoes!)

but o well, back to the main point. maybe you could join the forum and share some insight to them about how much racism effects you and how destructive and pointless it is? tho mind you the forum members would most likely go into a racist frenzy, but i think you are mature and smart enough to see through the ignorance.

i went back to the vnn forum today and i saw a person mentioned south africa, and AH i was wondering if you had any thing to say about what this person said, im sorry if this offends you :

If you answered, South Africa, then you are right...

Now lets look at why South Africa is the wealthiest nation in africa.

1) Has the highest percentage of whites in Africa. However as more and more whites leave the country, the wealth of South Africa also goes with them.

2) Under white rule, South Africa had a low crime rate. Now under black rule South Africa has some of the highest murder rates, car jacking rates, and HIV infection rates in the world.

3) South Africa has moved backwards in areas of personal wealth, healthcare, and education since blacks came to power.

Let me also refer you to the nation of Zimbabwe, once called Rhodesia, when whites were in controll of the nation.

Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) was once called the breadbasket of Africa when whites ruled the land.

Now since white farmers were kicked off their land in the year 2000, Zimbabwe cant even manage to feed its self and the economy has collapsed totally.

So, even when white people build a county, and hand it over to blacks, that country will slide back to shit within a few short years.

Don't bother, they base their entire beliefs on anecdotal evidence (stereotypes), pseudoscience, cherry picked crime stats. and a limited education of world history. There is no way to prove them wrong without them attacking you with ad hominems, straw men arguments and redirecting you to other nazi sites.

I know first hand living 15 minutes away from a community that is still very much involved in this ideology.
