I'm a Monarchist for several reasons but to save a long talk I may as well just say that the Monarchy is our one certainty in the ever-changing Australian political landscape. Wouldn't mind an Australian Monarchy but how would it be established?
What I wouldn't like is a Head of State who is replaced every few years.

I don't want the american model either, i'd prefer just to scrap the Monarchy but keep the Westminster Parliamentary system.

As a Brit please Australia start the movement to get rid of these leeches.

I want to die a Citizen, not a Subject!

To the comments native Aussies, more died in police cell in Australia, than Black people died in police cells in South Africa through aparthied.

That is not an issue. The point is weather Australia should remain British colony or not.
G. Whitlam who believed that Multicultural politics in the country is only way for Australia to develop its unique cultural and national identity and become independent nation from colonial master Brittan.
Unlike America, Australia did not have liberation war with Brittan and to these days remains a British British monarch as a head of state.
Unfortunately , in seventies Mr. G. Whitlam as a prime minister, was sect by British monarch for not serving enough British interest in his country Australia.

Hey, all i'm saying is that i don't want our head of state (as figureheaded as he/ she may be) purely a representative of the Queen. Our Attorney General should be answerable to the people.
