Is India Next?
Al-Qaeda groups are poppin' up like dandelions in yiour yard.
claiming to represent the al-Qaida terror network declared a holy war on India over its partial control of the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, Indian officials said Saturday.
A statement and video was sent Friday to the Current News Service, in Srinagar, the main city of India's Jammu-Kashmir state, in which a masked man standing next to an automatic weapon read the declaration.
"We declare righteous holy war against India on behalf of God the great in which Jammu and Kashmir will be the launch pad for holy war in India," said the statement signed by Abu Abdul Rehman al-Ansari, purportedly the chief of al-Qaida Fil Hind or al-Qaida in India

Al Qaeda has been waging war on India in Kashmir for a long time. I posted in article in USPOL back in 2002 about how Kashmiri seperatists welcomed Al qaeda in the 90s, but al Qaeda had less interest in independence for Kasmir than in waging jihad against Hindus.

These guys are so fucking stupid. I honestly can not understand how these guys can take themselves seriously. I don't even really know what to say about it except that I hope the Indians kick their fucking asses. I've met a handful of Indians and they've all been cool in my book.

Back in the 60's we had these groups that were considered political activist.
Sometimes other people would take advantage of that.
Say, a Federal savings bank, they would walk in shouting REVOLUTION, AND POWER TO THE PEOPLE, and then they would take the money and split to the islands for a good time.
Maybe today some of these so called Al-Qadia cells are really just hustlers take advantage of a bad situation, maybe, some of these cells are just out for money and fame.

Whether that's the case in India I don't know, but certainly in Iraq and Afghanistan a lot of the violence is carried out by criminal gangs for general profit.

That's why I dont' understand why people can believe anything Osama or any of the other militant leaders say. It is obvious they play of the faith of ignorants in order to whip up hate and mal-content. Don't blame the warriors for the war.....Look to their leaders.
India has held it's own for a long time. I am sure whe will take the steps neccesary to defend herself.
